Ledges Cottonwood Area

Nestled within a scenic grove of cottonwoods, the Ledges Cottonwood Area offers a quintessential primitive camping experience along the banks of the San Miguel River. This BLM-managed site features 14 campsites suitable for both tent and RV camping. On-site amenities are basic, including picnic tables, grills, toilets, and hand-carry boat ramps for water access. Please note that this is a primitive location; there is no potable drinking water or trash service provided, so visitors should plan to pack out all waste and bring their own water supplies.
