Boundary Creek Campground

Boundary Creek Campground serves as a premier gateway to the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Situated at an elevation of 5,680 feet, this USFS-managed site is primarily known as the essential staging area for rafters and kayakers preparing to launch onto the legendary Middle Fork of the Salmon River. The rugged, forested terrain offers a quintessential Rocky Mountain experience for those seeking deep wilderness access.

The campground features 15 sites equipped with basic amenities including vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables. While there are no utility hookups available, the site provides direct access to a boat ramp, fishing spots, and several hiking trails that lead directly into the surrounding wilderness. Five of the sites are reservable during the peak summer season, while the remainder are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
