Curlew Campground

Curlew Campground offers a rugged and serene escape within the expansive Curlew National Grassland. Situated at an elevation of 4,614 feet, this primitive USFS site is ideal for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in the quiet beauty of the Idaho landscape. While Stone Reservoir is located nearby, please note that it is currently closed to all motor crafts and boats due to invasive species concerns. This is a primitive campground, so visitors should come prepared for self-sufficient camping. Facilities are limited to basic vault toilets and fire rings, with no utility hookups available. Because of its remote nature and lack of modern amenities, Curlew Campground is best suited for tent campers and experienced RV travelers who enjoy a rustic, off-the-grid experience in a peaceful, natural environment.
