Clark Creek Organization Camp

Nestled in the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, Clark Creek Organization Camp offers a unique, primitive group camping experience. Originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, this historic site stands out for its unique infrastructure, which includes five sleeping structures equipped with platform bunks. The expansive grounds provide ample space for large groups to gather, featuring a large field perfect for activities like baseball, volleyball, and frisbee.

The campground is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Oregon wilderness at an elevation of 1075 feet. Guests can take advantage of the numerous hiking and biking trails that wind through the local terrain, or head to nearby swimming areas to cool off during warmer months. Additional on-site recreation includes horseshoe pits, making it an excellent destination for organizations, family reunions, or large groups looking to enjoy the outdoors together.

As a primitive Federal campground managed by the USFS, Clark Creek provides essential facilities including vault toilets and fire rings. While there are no utility hookups available, the site is well-suited for tent campers and those in self-contained RVs who prefer a rustic, back-to-basics atmosphere. Open year-round, this versatile site serves as an ideal basecamp for groups seeking a quiet, scenic escape in the heart of Oregon.
