Shady Cove

Shady Cove offers a rustic, off-the-grid experience for campers looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Oregon wilderness. Please note that the site is currently recovering from wildfire damage, which adds a rugged and evolving character to the surrounding landscape.

This is a primitive location that does not offer traditional hookups or listed amenities. Because it operates on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, visitors must arrive in person to claim their spot. Payment is handled conveniently through the Recreation.gov mobile app using the Scan and Pay feature, provided the service is active at the time of your visit.

This campground is best suited for experienced, self-sufficient campers who are prepared for a remote stay without modern facilities.
