Day Run Campground

Nestled just off the Highland Scenic Highway, Day Run Campground offers a serene escape into the heart of West Virginia’s natural beauty. This small, developed USFS site is uniquely positioned along the banks of the upper Williams River, providing a tranquil environment that is particularly appealing to anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground features 12 individual sites, each thoughtfully equipped with a wooden picnic table, a lantern post, and a fire ring for evening campfires. While some sites offer dedicated tent pads, the grounds are well-suited for both tent and trailer camping. As a primitive facility, the site does not offer utility hookups, making it an ideal destination for campers who enjoy a more rustic, self-sufficient outdoor experience.
