Sugarloaf Campground (WY)

Perched at a staggering 10,800 feet, Sugarloaf Campground stands as one of the highest elevation campgrounds in the United States. This unique location within the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest offers campers an unparalleled, panoramic view of the Snowy Range, which climbs to 12,000 feet. The campground provides essential amenities including vault toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and access to water. While there are no electric or sewer hookups, the site accommodates both tent campers and smaller RVs up to 22 feet in length.
