Breiland Slough Cabin

Breiland Slough Cabin offers a unique wilderness retreat located on the west side of Duncan Canal on Kupreanof Island. Situated at a low elevation of 25 feet, this primitive site serves as an ideal base camp for adventurers looking to explore the nearby Castle Islands. The facility is managed by the USFS and is open year-round for those prepared for self-sufficient travel. On-site amenities are intentionally basic, consisting of vault toilets and direct access to the slough for fishing. Please note that there are no utility hookups available at this location.
