Homestake Campground (Primitive)

Homestake Campground offers an unparalleled escape for those looking to disconnect in the heart of the California wilderness. Visitors should note that this is a completely primitive Federal campground managed by the USFS with no hookups, no water, and no toilet facilities available on-site. While the area is ADA accessible, the journey to reach it is not. You must arrive fully prepared to pack in all necessary supplies and pack out every piece of trash you generate to help preserve this fragile desert environment.
