Grandstaff Campground

Grandstaff Campground offers a unique, primitive camping experience nestled along the banks of the Colorado River. Set against a backdrop of massive red rock cliffs near Arches National Park, this BLM site provides campers with some of the most spectacular scenery in the Southwest. As a primitive site, this campground does not offer hookups, making it best suited for tent campers and self-sufficient travelers looking to immerse themselves in nature. The area is highly prized for its immediate access to local recreation, including the popular Grandstaff Trailhead for hiking and the Porcupine Rim Trail for mountain biking. Because of its prime location and beautiful environment, the campground is extremely popular and typically fills up early in the morning during the peak season from March through October.
